Thought I would just post up some photos from our little course walk after practice. There are a few main rock features , but overall the track is really fun and flowy. Nice dry dirt:) Some of the corners are quite blown out and getting worse, but not too bad. The organizers ran some sort of winner take all old school slalom; raked out dirt on the beginner slope, flags in the ground, super raw:). Not sure who won. Followed of course by some foot down for the kiddies, etc. We were up there for a pasta dinner at the lodge, so bit of something for everyone:). Plattekill is a lovely spot, really nice people, good scenery. Our hotel down the road is awesome- The Roxbury Motel. Also great to see small resorts step up for mountain biking.
