Tahoe bound...

After another glorious week in B.C., it is now time to head for drier ground in Northern California. Feels like forever since I have raced, but round #3 of the pro grt is upon us. I used to snowboard a ton at Northstar when I lived in the bay area, but now with the bike park open, this sweet resort is kicking year round. I'm excited to check it out. Bryn just got back from 6 weeks of continuios travel last night, so he's flyin down, but Lars and I are loaded up, and already in the thick of it. We broke up the drive a bit, went to visit Chico at Dakine in Hood River, then made it to Bend oregon for an evening slalom/ pump track session. Such a RAd place, Kirt Vories n crew were out shredding as well. Power session before dark. Anywho, heading the rest of our mission in the am,7 hrs more...

Suppose to have sone serious talent at this race. Obviously transition racing:), yeti boys, odi, etc. World champ, Steve peat making the trip. Santa Cruz bicycles is somewhat close, so I'm sure that, as well being a supporter of us racing has drawn him in. pretty decent pro prize purse too, nice work northstar, $1500 for first. Progrt.com

I'll keep ya posted . Jill
